Every year here at Rhythm Connections Radio we like to make you aware of World Sickle Cell Day which happens on the 19th June. This year we are also highlighting the urgent need for Black blood donation here in the UK.
There are over 15,000 people, in the UK, who suffer with Sickle Cell and at times many of them will need blood transfusions to help them cope with the condition. The National Heath Service is looking for more Black and Asian people to come forward and give blood. For more info on Sickle Cell and giving blood please click on the images below.

Apologies for the delay with info this week. We are ready too bring up to date with events over the past week.
There were no live shows from Simba Natty, Marcy Marce and Just T. Simba wasn't available for his time slot on Tuesday night while Marcy Marce and Just T had some technical issues which forced them to cancel their show. There was also no live show from DJ Don on Sunday but one of his previous shows was played covering his show time.
DJ Midnite returned, on the Wednesday, after a couple of weeks away from the RCR studio.
